Seats

SAFETY FIRST: Protective gloves and eyewear are recommended at this point.

Removal

Rider Seat

Release the rider seat latch with the key.

Lift up on the back of the seat to free the seat post from the latch. Slide the seat back so that its tab clears the fuel tank bracket.

Passenger Seat and Grab Rail

Remove the two grab rail bolts from each side with a 6 mm Allen.

Remove the grab rail and the bolt collars. Note the rear collars are longer.

Remove the rider seat latch screws with a #3 Phillips screwdriver.

Remove the rider seat latch and the passenger seat.

Installation

Set the passenger seat in place.

Install the rider seat latch. Tighten the two screws securely with a #3 Phillips screwdriver.

Install the grab rail, mounting bolt collars, and mounting bolts. The longer collars go in the rear.

Tighten the grab rail mounting bolts securely with a 6 mm Allen.

Install the seat. Slide the seat tab under the fuel tank bracket. Push the seat posts into the latch to secure the seat.
