SAFETY FIRST: Protective gloves and eyewear are recommended at this point.
Loosen the two footpeg mounting bolts with a 6 mm Allen. Remove the mountings bolts.
Remove the washers and the footpeg assembly from the frame.
Unhook the footpeg spring.
Remove the pivot pin circlip and washer. Slide out the pivot pin.
Remove the footpeg from the bracket.
Remove the peg pivot pin clip with a small flat blade screwdriver. Remove the washer.
Remove the pivot from the peg, and slide the peg out of its hanger.
Take care to keep track of the ball bearing ad spring.
Place the footpeg in its bracket.
Insert the peg pivot pin.
Slide the washer and circlip onto the pivot pin.
Install the footpeg spring onto the peg and bracket.
Mount the footpeg and bracket to the frame. Place the washers on each side of the bracket.
Install the two bolts and tighten them securely with a 6 mm socket.
Install the spring and ball into the peg.
Slide the peg out of its holder. Take care to keep track of the ball bearing.
Install the peg into the bracket. Insert pivot pin and install the circlip.
