The Ninja 300 is a clear improvement over Kawasaki’s previous 250 model. The additional 7.8 mm of stroke gives a 47 cc displacement advantage vs the older bike. This bump in engine size along with fuel injection creates a more lively engine feel. From the seat, the power seems like an improvement at all rpm and significantly better at higher rpm. If the tachometer is kept over 7,000 rpm this little bike will really hustle. Like the 250, the 300 is a good beginner bike and small commuter ride, but it is a more exciting mount to unwind a curvy road. This is a fun sport bike in its own right not just a stepping stone to something bigger.
